Getting around

As you will know from living here, The Bow Quarter couldn't be better connected. But for new residents and visitors:

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) at Bow Church Station is 5 minutes walk away down Fairfield Road; five stops to Canary Wharf, which is clearly visible from The Bow Quarter.

A couple more minutes walk takes you to Bow Road Station, Zone 2 on the District and Hammersmith lines. Mile End, one stop away, offers the Central line as well.

If you feel like taking the bus, the number 25 goes from Bow Road to the heart of the City and Oxford Street; or for Victoria take the 8 (and prepare to be patient).

Right up until the last tube there are taxis on the rank at Mile End, though you can usually hail one on the Bow Road.

City Airport is a twenty minute taxi ride away or approximately thirty minutes on the DLR; Stansted is thirty minutes drive up the M11.

And if it's Paris you fancy, one day the Eurotunnel will stop at Stratford, just up the road.
